We are looking for two couples to work with us next winter, 2016/2017, in Morzine!

We want applications from couples that are motivated, with an eye for the smallest detail and an understanding of what our guests expect for their perfect, memorable skiing holiday.

From the moment that our guests arrive, you will be there to look after them, help them get the most from their stay and make them feel truly at home. Experience in cooking is a must - not necessarily to chef standard, but you must be confidant and comfortable cooking for large groups and able to deliver well presented, great tasting food on time.

If you are outgoing, hard working, food lovers with a passion for the mountains, a love of entertaining and working with people, then you could be the perfect fit for the Alpine Highs team!

A brief view of what the job involves

Running one of our chalets on a daily basis, cleaning, tidying and making sure everything is as it should be.

Cooking amazing food! From breakfast, though to afternoon tea and our three course evening meals, we have built a reputation for great food and full tummies!

Snow clearance - an essential part of Alpine life!

The weekly clean. A hard days work changing over the chalet for new guests and making sure it is all absolutely perfect. We pride ourselves on making everything perfect!

The weekly food shop.

Helping and advising guests, from the great runs you've found to organising ski delivery or what’s gong on in the resort.

Having fun with guests! Its work, but that doesn't mean that its not fun! You meet some great and varied people in this job and every week brings something new!

A few essential bits

Ability to work in the EU.

Ages 24 and over.

Full driving licence with no endorsements.

Experience of working with people, ideally in the service industry. Bars, hotels etc, with the ability to remain polite and friendly, even if there is a problem.

Motivation, punctuality, organisation and a real pride in your work.

Wanting to have fun and get the absolute most out of your time in the Alps!!

Because we are such a small company, we have a very personal relationship with our guests. Unlike a lot of larger chalet companies, we really understand the importance of looking after our staff, too! Its hard work being dedicated and motivated all season, but we have high expectations. In return, we make sure that you have support from us, good comfortable accommodation and all the tools to do your job to the best of your ability. We also like to let you know when you've done a good job! We like to get away to other resorts or just out of the mountains (!) with our staff, once in a while to have some fun and say thanks for all the effort!
